J. Fossenbell‘s poems and translations can be found at Whole Beast Rag, Cerise Press, Moonshot Magazine, Midway Journal, Radioactive Moat, and elsewhere. She occasionally writes poetry reviews for The Volta Blog, and her essays have appeared or are forthcoming in Delirious Hem, Parabasis, and dislocate. She co-edited the international anthology Strange Roots: Views of Hanoi (2011) and co-translated two collections of Vietnamese poetry, Wild Under the Sky by Huu Thinh (2015) and The Human Field by Tran Quang Quy (2009). She lives in Minneapolis, where she teaches writing studies at the University of Minnesota and co-curates the poetry reading series Our Flow Is Hard.
